I am actually very surprised by how many people are digging this fun little side project. We hit the home page of Tweetmeme two days ago, have been mentioned on boingboing, Ogilvy PR and techPresident and have had over 10,000 “Hillaryisms” submitted. Yesterday we launched a t-shirt contest for users to submit their creative interpretation of their favorite phrase.
Tonight, the site takes a giant leap forward as we have introduced a user rating system. Thanks to Dave Martorana who slaved over code all day long, you can now vote thumbs up or down for phrases as you browse through the site. A list of the 50 most and least popular phrases is dynamically generated as well as the 10 most recently submitted. These new features are live right now.
It is the user interaction that keeps bringing people back; it’s really fun to submit your own phrase and see it up there, knowing thousands of others will be chuckling at it also.
