Obama iPhone Wallpaper

Art, Politics Comments

With the election getting closer and closer my support for Obama is starting to rage. I found these amazing designs at Changethethought and thankfully they are free to use for non-commercial purposes.

I’ve sized them down to 480×320, perfect resolution for the iPhone. I’m sure they could be used on other phones too. You can save these to your hard drive and sync them to your iPhone in iTunes or an even easier way is to visit this site in mobile Safari and save them directly to the phone.

Obama chooses Biden as running mate

Politics Comments

I just randomly checked Obama’s website for details about when he will announce his running mate and I found that the site has already been updated with his selection: Joe Biden. Although I am not very familiar with the Delaware senator’s track record, I do know that his 35 years of experience in office will help to balance the ticket.

The two will appear side by side tomorrow in Springfield, Illinois to formally announce their plans.

8 American Bloggers Detained in China

Politics Comments

I was afraid of this: the bloggers were detained at a Free Tibet protest in Beijing two days ago. Although names aren’t stated in the article, one of the detainees is Philadelphia resident Brian Conley of Alive in Baghdad. China has been trying its hardest to crackdown on protesters as to not tarnish the image of the country during the globally televised Olympics. Those who have been detained are participating in peaceful protests; waving signs or banners and not causing any physical or property disturbance.

I am sure (hopeful) that those that were arrested will make it home safely.

P.S. Obama will be announcing his V.P. candidate by TXT message. Send 62262 to hear it first. Who do you think it’ll be?
